Schedule

All classes will be held on Saturday to make it easier for parents to help deliver the harps.

Solo Section

Each performer will play two selections showing contrasting elements from standard solo repertoire, such as Classical, Baroque, Celtic, or contemporary/modern. All selections must be played from memory.

Concerto Section

Each performer must also enter the Solo Section to qualify for the Concerto Section. Performers will be expected to play from memory, one or two movements of a standard concerto repertoire work. Although performers may use sheet music, they must each provide their own music stand.

Ensemble Section

Ensemble classes are open to two or more harpists, or a harp with other string, reed, or woodwind instruments only, and not to exceed six performers in any ensemble. All members of each ensemble must register for the class according to the oldest member of the group. Although performers may use sheet music, they must each provide their own music stand.

Harps may be loaded and unloaded from the ramp area (main entrance) on the east side of the facility.

Any class consisting of three or fewer entrants will be combined with another class.
